We have a unique Francie Garber Pepper Survivor Equity Fund to help you navigate safety challenges & we understand that you are the expert of your life. We do our best to support through a low barrier process and with rapid response.

Examples of Francie Garber Pepper Survivor Equity Fund support include:
- Rental assistance
- Eviction prevention
- Utilities
- Relocation costs (bus, air, train, moving & storage, etc.)
- Ubers/Lyfts
- Emergency hotel stays
- Lock changes
- Car repairs
- And many more categories of urgent need so that survivors aren’t financially prohibited from a chance at safety during a dangerous time in their lives
A Return on Investment Like No Other
Gender-based violence disrupts safety, stability and connection to resources. And many survivors that WHW serves are left with the economic impact of violence and trauma committed against them. To be under threat and under financial burden is a day-to-day reality that prohibits safety and mobility — and it doesn’t have to be that way. That’s why WHW created the first ever Francie Garber Pepper Survivor Equity Fund to invest in the immediate safety needs of survivors and to grow from meeting needs to empowering dreams.
A donation of $10,000 can provide emergency assistance to 10 families in crisis.

Many abusers control finances to maintain power & control and as a tool to physically isolate survivors fand financially ruin survivors. WHW commits to investing in survivors at least $1000,000 every year for the next 5 years.
